SaniDate® 12.0 Bactericide & Fungicide is a high-strength, peroxyacetic acid-based microbicide designed as an alternative to chlorine treatments for irrigation water. It effectively controls water-borne pathogens, algae, bacteria, and biofilm, preventing the spread of disease among crops in greenhouses and agricultural settings. This EPA-registered solution is the first of its kind to reduce and control foodborne bacterial pathogens in preharvest irrigation water. SaniDate 12.0 works through oxidation, destroying bacteria and fungi on contact by targeting their enzymes and proteins. Its highly concentrated formula ensures economical dilution rates, making it a cost-effective option for large-scale water treatment. Suitable for various applications, SaniDate® 12.0 eliminates pathogens in irrigation water, drainage ditches, fruit and vegetable processing waters, recycled water systems, and evaporative cooling systems.
